Montessori Chidlren's Center

My son started school this year at the age of 1. I was lucky enough to have my mom watch him until then. As a first time mom, I was so nervous and wanted the absolute best school for my child. And I found it! The staff is awesome. The directors, teachers and other staff members are so warm and caring. It amazes me how every staff member knows our name, not to mention their excellent educational skills with children of such a young age. I really feel comfortable with them and my son loves going to school every day. It has only been a few months and I can already see a change in him. It really is an amazing school and if you care about giving your child the best, then I highly recommend this school.Barb Brady
I returned to work when my son was just 8 weeks old. And, the thought if finding a daycare for him that I trusted, frightened me! When considering facilities, I factored in cost, location, cleanliness, but most of all quality of care and programming. After interviewing several facilities (and calling dozens), I chose Montessori Children's Center of Allen Park. Two years later, it has been one of the best decisions I've made for my son. Each day I go to work assured knowing that he is in a safe and nurturing environment, where he is being cared for in a quality manner. This helps to ease my mind and allows me to be a more productive employee. In addition, the staff at MCC have always been pleasant and responsive to my requests. Montessori Children's Center has been an extremely important part of my daughter's development. Through their hard work and clear understanding of the Montessori teaching process, the teachers and staff at MCC were able to help my daughter develop her cognitive skills. By the age of two, my daughter was able to count to 15 in English and to 10 in Spanish. She could also spell her name and carry on meaningful conversations. I credit her accomplishments to the MCC teachers and staff. Mrs. Jane and Mrs. Penny, being the cornerstone of the organization, are always present and hands on with my daughter. They obviously have done a wonderful job in leading the MCC staff. My daughter is a great example of what can be gained through MCC. I am lucky to have her enrolled here. Katrina Mattic
